5-9 of February the representatives of Danish Immigration Service arrived to Kyiv with the purpose of verification of agrarian educational establishments in Ukraine, which most actively provide its students with the agricultural training in Denmark.
The reason of worry became the articles in Danish mass media about the huge percent of Ukrainian students, who has been training in Denmark in agriculture illegally. Some farmers are sure that their trainees have got fake documents about agricultural education to get to Denmark for earning money. During the facts finding mission, the administrations of many famous agrarian schools were invited to the Embassy, there was a verification of documents their students apply to the Visa section, which percent of students each school applies for training, their partners in Denmark, etc. The leaders of Union of Agrarian Youth explained the delegates from Denmark the important details of structure and work of some private “agencies” in Ukraine who take huge money for training contracts to Denmark, assisting in making fictitious papers about education, that, as a rule, causes big problems. Also, the activity of some “businessmen” abroad, who re-sale training places (farms) to anyone, taking no responsibility for that. “Union of Agrarian Youth protects the interests of students and fights against those, who try to get abroad illegally. There are a lot of interested in agriculture students in Ukraine, who want and are really worth the opportunity of training abroad” – said Vitaliy Berezhnyy, chairman of Union of Agrarian Youth. |
