Lately the Union of Agrarian Youth experienced an important event. Its Deputy Chairman Mykola Andrienko took part in the annual world’s Grow Abroad 2007 Conference which was held in Australia and was under way from the 14-th till the 31-st of October 2007. It was dedicated to the problems of youth training abroad, exchange of experience in this field in the branch of agriculture.
This conference was attended by representatives of Denmark, Switzerland, Australia, the U.S.A., Canada, Great Britain, Latvia, Ukraine and other. The main topic on its agenda was the development of partnership between countries in the branch of agriculture, ways of development of training programs and youth study abroad. An important aspect of the activities discussed was a visa problem. A lot of important things are being done in order to make the way of visa obtaining move simple. Many modern projects in which more advanced methods of preparation of youth for training programs were discussed. An important question was the involvement of other perspective organisations into the association because by joint efforts it’s easier to achieve the common goal. Conferences of such type are always meaningful and useful. Grow Abroad 2007 conference provided our organisation with useful experience in cooperation with foreign partners, it helped to establish new contacts with various organisations from all parts of the world and to learn different methods of probation and youth training abroad.
