Union of Agrarian Youth has been organizing practical cooperation between different educational establishments since 2004, provides agricultural training at different farming complexes and agricultural enterprises of Ukraine, gives an opportunity to additionally study special branches of agriculture, holds agricultural trainings, seminars for students, organizes agricultural festivals, sports competitions, folk contests and other cultural events for rural youth. Young people have a possibility to study at agricultural schools abroad, get a scholarship, and have agricultural training abroad.
Union of Agrarian Youth is in active cooperation with many agrarian colleges, institutes, universities of Cherkassy region and with agrarian educational establishments of other regions of Ukraine, to mention the most close cooperation with Talyanky college of Uman State Agrarian University (v. Talyanky, Talne district, Cherkassy region), Shevchenkove college of Uman State Agrarian University (v. Shevchenkove, Zvenigorodka district, Cherkassy region, Ukraine), Khorol State Agro-Industrial College (Khorol, Poltava region), Maslivka State Agrarian College (v. Maslivka, Myronivka district, Kyiv region). One of the most fascinating events, that Union of Agrarian Youth organizes, is holding of yearly agricultural festivals. The participants of the festivals are, as a rule, teams of agrarian educational establishments from different regions of Ukraine. The program of the festival is interesting and exciting, includes professional competitions for the best zoo-technician, the best tractor driver, professional team competitions, sports competitions, tug-of-war, basketball, volleyball, tennis, weight-lifting, etc. Agricultural festivals include folk contests, the winners are awarded valuable prizes. The significant activity of Union of Agrarian Youth is the organization of education and training abroad. All members of the Union between 19 and 28 years old have an opportunity of agricultural training abroad in European countries, in the USA and even in Australia. The most popular training is in Denmark, where a trainee has a brilliant possibility to gain work experience in agriculture, improve the level of English, get relevant salary according to the contract, and feel complete social defense and friendly attitude. |
